Gateway Fire Truck Club MeetingMay 13, 2006

     On May 13, 2006, Greg Rhomberg and Antique Warehouse hosted the Gateway Fire Truck Club monthly meeting.  Many of the members brought their own fire trucks for display.  One company from the St. Louis Fire Department and another from the Melville Fire Department showed up and displayed their trucks as well.  The St. Louis 2004 Exposition displayed their 1948 American LaFrance Aerial Ladder Fire Engine, 1926 Mack AC 700 Gallon Triple Combination Pumper Fire Truck and their Ahrens Fox MX4 Fire Engine.  Greg also showed his 1933 Chevrolet Fire Truck with Boyer Body, which is being overhauled.  Inside the warehouse, a wide variety of activities was offered.  Many enjoyed a game of pinball, while others enjoyed browsing the thousands of antiques on display.  A country style lunch was served, along with St. Louis favorite, Carl's Root Beer, straight from the tap in chilled mugs.  Below are a few images from the days event.
