If there seams to be a reoccurring theme to Inside St. Louis, it may be due to my unconscious connection for great food and awesome signs. Del Pietro’s neon sign has been described by Ron (Johnny Rabbitt) Elz as a “veritable Southtown beacon” to passersby. Read the Rabbitt’s complete narration: Inside St. Louis

Insider Tip: Oh, the pizza? If you liked it at Rossino’s and Parente’s, and who didn’t, keep in mind what one time Hill resident Yogi Berra said: “It’s déjà vu all over again.”

We recently attend the Chicagoland Antique Advertising, Slot Machine & Jukebox Show in St. Charles, Illinois. This was the best show in years. I felt that many dealers were offering some pieces from their private collections, probably due to the lack luster economy. What ever the reason, prices remained strong as there were many buyers eager to take advantage of the premium antiques and collectibles.

May Peace, Joy, Hope and Happiness be yours during this Holiday Season… Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Warmest regards,

Greg R. Rhomberg
